1. Overview
MVR Digital LLC ("MVR Digital," "MVR," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and your choices. It covers:
- Our website at www.mvrdigital.co (the "Site").
- MVR Studio, our reporting and campaign-management platform at studio.mvrdigital.co and any other domain we use to provide it ("Studio"), including its apps, approved integrations, and editions that an MVR partner offers under its own brand.
1.1 Our commitments
- We don't sell personal information.
- We use a client's data to run Studio and our services for that client, never for another client.
- We don't build advertising profiles or audiences from client data.
- We don't let AI providers train on client data.
- We protect information with encryption, access controls, and monitoring.
- We delete information when you or your organization asks, as section 10 describes.
1.2 Data we process for clients
When a business connects its advertising, analytics, store, email, or CRM accounts to Studio, requests an audit, or hires us to run its marketing, we process that data on the business's behalf and under our agreement with it. For that data, we act as the business's service provider, and the business's own privacy policy explains how it handles its customers' information. If you're a customer of one of our clients and have a question about your data, contact that business first. We'll help it respond.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Site visitors
- Information you provide. Name, email address, phone number, company name, and any other details you submit through our contact forms, newsletter signup, or business inquiries.
- Information collected automatically. IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time on site, and referring URLs, collected through standard web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Cookies. See section 7.
2.2 Studio users
If you have a Studio account, we collect:
- Account information. Your name, work email address, organization, role, and sign-in settings.
- Sign-in and activity information. Your IP address, device, browser, and approximate location, your sign-in attempts, the pages and features you use, and actions you take in Studio. We also record sessions to diagnose problems, with on-screen text and typed inputs masked.
- Records. The version of the Studio Terms you accepted, and messages you send us.
We use this information to run Studio, keep it secure, provide support, and investigate misuse. To provide support, our staff can view Studio as it appears to a specific user.
2.3 Data from connected accounts
When a business connects an account to Studio, we receive data through that platform's own authorization flow. A connection stays active, and we keep receiving its data, until the business disconnects it or asks us to. That data is mainly advertising performance, campaign settings, ad creative, and store sales. Some platforms also include limited information about the business's own customers, such as order contact details or location. We use it only for that business's reporting and services, and section 1.2 explains our role.
2.4 MVR Digital Studio Dashboard (Shopify app)
For merchants who install the MVR Digital Studio Dashboard app for Shopify, we collect order-level data, including revenue, order counts, discount amounts, refund amounts, and sales channel attribution. The app requests access to order data only, not to customer profiles. We use order data for performance reporting, not to identify or contact individual shoppers.
We store order data in a database in the United States and use it only for performance reporting in MVR Studio. We don't sell it, and only the service providers that help us run Studio process it, as section 4 describes.
Merchants can request deletion of their store data by contacting [email protected].
2.5 Approved integrations
When an approved integration, such as the MVR Studio MCP connector, connects to Studio, we keep the authorization it needs and a record of its requests. Content requested through the integration goes to the service connected to it, under that service's own terms.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve the Site, Studio, and our services. That includes using it to:
- Respond to inquiries and communicate with prospective and current clients.
- Run Studio for our clients, including syncing connected accounts and producing reports.
- Keep the Site and Studio secure, including detecting unauthorized automated tools and AI agents and investigating misuse.
- Enforce our Terms of Service and Studio Terms.
- Improve the Site, Studio, and our services.
- Send relevant business communications. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
- Create de-identified, aggregated data that doesn't identify any business or person.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3.1 AI features
Some Studio features use AI services from trusted providers. We share only what each feature needs, under agreements that require the provider to protect it. Those providers can't use it to train their models, and we don't use client data to train AI models.
5. Ad platform and Google data
We use data from Meta, Google, TikTok, Shopify, and other connected platforms to provide, maintain, and secure Studio and our services for the business that connected the account. We don't sell this data or use it for any other business, and we follow each platform's terms for its data, including any shorter deletion deadlines. To stop Studio from receiving a platform's data, remove MVR Studio's access in that platform's settings, then ask us to delete stored data as section 10 describes.
MVR Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
6. How we protect information
We protect personal information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication, separation of each client's data, and activity logging. We limit staff access to people who need it and bind them to confidentiality. If we become aware of a security incident that affects personal information, we notify affected clients and individuals as our agreements and the law require. No system is completely secure, but we review and improve our safeguards as risks change.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.
- Site inquiries: as long as we need them to respond and keep track of the business relationship.
- Studio account information: while your account is active, and 1 year after your access ends.
- Studio sign-in and activity records: 1 year from when they're created, unless we need them longer to investigate misuse or the law requires it.
- Client data: while our agreement with the client continues or its accounts stay connected, then deleted within 1 year, or sooner if the client asks or a connected platform's terms require it.
9. International users
We're based in the United States and have team members in several countries. We store and process information in the United States, and our team members, including those outside the United States, can access it to provide our services.
10. Data deletion
- Your information. To ask us to delete your personal information, email [email protected] from the address on file.
- A business's Studio data. The business's account owner or administrator can ask us to delete some or all of its data by emailing [email protected]. We verify the request and delete the data from our systems and our service providers' systems within 60 days, or sooner if the law requires, and confirm in writing on request. Backup copies stay secured and out of use until they expire, and if a backup is ever restored, we delete that data again before using it.
- Connected platforms. To stop new data, remove MVR Studio's access in the platform's settings. For Shopify, uninstall the app. We also honor deletion requests that platforms send on behalf of their users.
We keep only what the law requires or what we need for security records, as section 8 describes.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can have the right to access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your personal information, to opt out of marketing communications, to appeal our decision on a request, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us as section 14 describes. If the information is in Studio on behalf of a client, we can refer your request to that client.
12. Children's privacy
The Site and Studio aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We can update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we post the updated policy on this page with a new version and last updated date, and we notify Studio users of material changes in Studio or by email.
